Electromagnetic flowmeter for basic hygienic applications
The Krohne OPTIFLUX 6050 is an electromagnetic flowmeter (EMF) designed and used for basic hygienic applications in the food sector. Offering cost-effective flow measurements where extremely high accuracy, extensive diagnostics, or a wide range of digital communication options are not a priority.
This 3A and EHEDG-certified flowmeter comes with industry-specific hygienic adapters. It has no crevices, gaps, or blind spots and has been specifically designed to stay free of contamination. This way, it complies with the most stringent hygienic demands in the food and beverage industry.
Due to its reinforced liner, the flowmeter also withstands high process temperatures (up to 140°C / 284°F) and vacuum impacts. The EMF can be used in CIP or SIP cleaning procedures. In addition to weld-end connections, the OPTIFLUX 6050 is available with a large number of hygienic fittings, including DIN 11851, DIN 11864, clamp, and SMS. A full on-site verification of the flowmeter without process interruption can be carried out using the OPTICHECK service tool.
