It’s been a challenging but exciting year for Contrec, but almost 10 months on and the new production facility at Sowerby Bridge is finally complete. The acquisition of the manufacturing rights for Contrec Process Instruments from India to the UK began in April of this year, contracts were signed and the setting up of the manufacturing facility in West Yorkshire began, numerous pallets of stock began arriving from Honeywell in Pune along with precision manufacturing and testing equipment.


Contrec Manufacturing’s Managing Director; Roger Bancroft said that it had been a important few months for Contrec’s future. “The takeover and decision to bring Contrec Manufacturing to the UK was a crucial one for Contrec’s growth strategy. Contrec Instruments have always had a renowned reputation within the industry for quality, reliability and performance, but it was time to become more customer focused by investing in more R&D and developing the product range further, now we are manufacturing Contrec instruments in the UK, we are using new suppliers with advanced technology to provide Contrec Instruments for the next generation,  with quality still being the essence of Contrec’s philosophy”.


Contrec Manufacturing through its service centres and extensive distributor network, is now supplying to over 30 countries globally.


Procon now have support stock and spares and can supply small numbers of Models 202, 220, 405 , 414, 505 and 515 in 1 -2 Days.
